Sure, maybe its not a unique, unexpected day but Christmas is magical! It isn’t called the most wonderful time of year for nothing! With the romantic lights, cozy feelings, family and friends near, it is the perfect recipe for an extra special day! The Christmas season has many romantic opportunities to propose here are a few ideas!

Choosing Your Christmas Tree

If you are a real tree couple, this is a super romantic way to ask the woman in your life to marry you! The smell of pine, spruce and fur combined with the cool winter air, maybe even some snow; this has potential to be a swoon worthy proposal! Walk around your local tree farm, admire the trees as usual and when she is turned away from you, get down on one knee!

Christmas Morning

There is an extra special feeling that sprinkles throughout the air on Christmas morning! If you are okay with a holiday proposal, this is the day for you! There are so many ways to plan out your big question on Christmas morning! Hang the ring on the branches of your tree, hide the ring in an ornament (you can make this very personal) or wrap it up in a tradition box; the possibilities are endless!

Winter Activity

Skate? Ski? Maybe even a sleigh ride? Whatever you do as a couple throughout the winter season is a great way to incorporate the biggest question of all! If you aren’t usually a winter activity couple, plan a date night to try something new!  As you are growing together as a couple trying new adventures, pop the question! Such a special way to ask for forever!

Lights!

I mean, it is Christmas! Be creative with Christmas lights and include it in your proposal! It can be as simple as “Marry Me” or you may chose you get super creative! This is such a fun idea! Aside from the fun/creative feel, lights have a sense of warm and cozy, how perfect! Oh the romance!

Walk in the City!

Many towns and cities go big for Christmas! Lights, music and maybe even a grand tree! Go to dinner and follow it with a quiet walk in the town, to enjoy the holiday scene! She won’t see it coming and you will remember this night for years!

Christmas is a holiday which you will spend time with family and friends you may not typically get the opportunity to see! Wedding plans, swooning over the ring and so many happy memories will be shared within your engagement announcements! If you have been dating for some time, chances are she may be hoping for a ring under that tree! However you choose to ask her, you are sure to get the extra kick of romance, this time of year!
